2019/10/02 – Niger is not Nigeria. The two countries may be neighbours with ethnic affinity but they are two different countries with two different governments and two different heads of governments. Le Niger et le Nigéria fédèrent leurs actions pour combattre la corruption au niveau de leurs frontières

2019/10/02 – Dans le cadre de la lutte contre la corruption au niveau de leurs frontières, le Niger et le Nigéria ont décidé de mutualiser leurs efforts. Dans cette perspective, les deux Etats ont paraphé ce 7 février à Niamey un protocole d’accord. US gives control center to Niger for Boko Haram operations

2019/04/02 – The United States turned over a communications and operations center to the Niger army to help the African nation battle Boko Haram, a statement said.

The planning and operations control center, worth $16.5 million (€14.4 million), is designed to help Niger forces synchronize its operations through improved communications, U.S. Ambassador Eric Whitaker said during the handover ceremony on Monday, February 4. Maroc-Nigéria: Progression du projet Gazoduc

2019/30/01 – Lors du Nigeria International Petroleum Summit, qui a eu lieu du 27 au 30 janvier à Abuja, la capitale du pays, le ministre d’Etat aux ressources pétrolières Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu a déclaré que l’étude de faisabilité du projet de gazoduc entre le Nigéria et le Maroc a été réalisée en juillet 2018 et que la phase 1 des pré-études de détail devrait prendre fin d’ici la fin du premier trimestre 2019. India/Africa – Pune to host Indian Army’s joint exercise with African counterparts in March #Niger

2019/30/01 – Delegates from India, Egypt, Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal, Sudan, South Africa, Tanzania, Namibia, Mozambique, Uganda, Niger, Zambia and Rwanda attended the two-day conference.

PUNE will host a joint military exercise of the Indian Army and armies of more than a dozen African nations in March. Boko Haram kills 4 in Bosso near Niger-Nigeria border

2019/30/0- Boko Haram militants have shot dead at least four people in a town in Niger near the border with Nigeria, a local official said Tuesday, January 29.

Three other people were wounded in the attack on Monday night in Bosso, a town near the Lake Chad basin which has suffered repeated assaults by the jihadist group.
