Iran Defense minister arrives in Mauritania (09/01)

2019/01/10 – Iran’s Defense Minister Amir Hatami arrived in Nouakchott on Wednesday at the head of a high-ranking delegation. He is slated to hold talks with the top-ranking officials of Mauritania during his trip to the African state. He will talk with the country’s president and defense minister.

Mauritania is a major Muslim country in Northwest Africa.

Algeria Vows to Expand Ties with Iran

2019/09/01 – Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Algeria Abdul Razzak Tarbash, in a ceremony to hail the formation of Iran-Algeria Parliamentary Friendship Group, said that relations between Algiers and Tehran are based on brotherhood and constructive cooperation.

The formation of Iran-Algeria Parliamentary Friendship Group in Algerian National People’s Assembly was officially celebrated on Tuesday, in a special ceremony attended by Iran’s Ambassador Reza Ameri.

Tarbash attended the ceremony in the Algerian Parliament as a number of political figures and some heads of parliamentary fractions and members of parliament were present there as well.
