Mali’s New Leader Thanks Morocco for Crisis Resolution Efforts

26/08/2020 – The leader of the new entity running post-coup Mali has thanked King Mohammed VI for Morocco’s active support towards resolving the country’s political crisis. 

A coup unfolded in Mali on August 18, forcing President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita to resign. After the president stepped down, the military personnel who staged the coup announced the establishment of the National Committee for the Salvation of the People (CNSP) as the entity in charge of leading Mali. Morocco, Mali Discuss Partnership Opportunities, Review Agreements

13/’6/2020 – Moroccan and Malian institutions should boost their cooperation and seize the numerous partnership opportunities, said newly-elected President of the National Assembly of Mali, Moussa Timbine.
