28/07/2020 – The Spanish Air Force has sent a second C295 aircraft to Dakar, Senegal, to support pace and security missions in the area.
The aircraft left Getafe, Spain, on 15 July to join a first aircraft that arrived there in March this year. The aircraft support the United Nations missions in the Central African Republic (Minusca) and Mali (Minusma) as well as the French-led Operation Barkhane. 2018/08/31 – About twenty military delegations (groups) from Africa participated in the International Military-Technical forum «ARMY-2018» organised by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in Kubinka, located approximately 280 km from Moscow.
The «ARMY-2018» received about 120 official delegations from foreign countries and featured nearly 150 events as part of its scientific business programme. The annual games allow the different world forces to improve their efficiency, knowledge and friendship. The army extravaganza, billed the Olympics of the Military World, now in its fourth year. 2018/19/01 – Defence Minister Jüri Luik (IRL) will meet with his French counterpart, Florence Parly, next week. The meeting will be about strengthening defense cooperation between France and Estonia, and discuss possibilities for expanding joint military operations building on the shared experience of missions in the Central African Republic and Mali, spokespeople for the Estonian Defence Ministry said on Friday.
