18/01/2020 – Israeli President Reuven Rivlin sent an official letter to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi on Wednesday, celebrating the activation of Israel’s natural gas pipeline to Egypt.
The Leviathan undersea natural gas field, located off the northern Israeli port city of Haifa, went online on Wednesday, pumping gas to Egypt as per a mutual agreement and engineering project between Israel and Egypt. 05/01/2020 – Turkey and Libya could work with international companies to search for oil and gas in the eastern Mediterranean, Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said on Sunday, following a deal between Ankara and the Tripoli-based government on maritime borders.In November, Libya’s internationally recognized government in Tripoli and Turkey clinched a deal on drilling for natural gas, in a step Ankara said aimed to defend its rights in the region.
