04/01/2020- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received on Thursday a phone call from President Mahamadou Issoufou of the Republic of Niger.
During the telephone conversation, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques expressed the Kingdom’s condemnation of the terrorist acts that took place in Niger.
He also affirmed the Saudi support for Niger in combating « terrorism and drying its sources », as it forms a threat to the security and stability of countries and peoples, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
For his part, Issoufou expressed his appreciation to the Kingdom’s position and condemnation of terrorist acts, commending the Saudi Arabia’s great efforts in combating terrorism.
Moreover, the distinguished relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing them were reviewed.
