2019/16/02 – An agreement was announced Friday, in Munich, Germany, on linking information and databases between the Interpol and the Libyan authorities for tracing lawless elements.
This came during a meeting between the Presidential Council’s (PC) head, Fayez Al-Sarraj and Secretary General of the International Criminal Police, Juergen Stok, on the sidelines of Munich Security Summit, during which they discussed the possibility of working to reduce the spread of weapons and monitoring of terrorist groups.
The two sides also agreed to dispatch workers engaged in the field of crime control from Libya, to INTERPOL offices around the world, in order to expose to the mechanisms and method of work and gain new experiences, according to the PC’s head press office.
